Experience Authentic Community and Spiritual Growth
The Purpose...
“Friend, you have no idea how good your love makes me feel, doubly so when I see your hospitality to fellow believers.” (Philemon 1:7) Life Groups are an avenue for people to share life with each other by building new friendships and growing in their walk with the Lord. They are small groups that meet bi-weekly in someone’s home for building friendships and meeting new people, biblical discussion, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity. They are generally organized by those wanting to grow through a particular topic of discussion, sharing a similar season of life, or live in a similar geographical location.
Why Be A Part?
By developing friendships with others at Painesville Assembly of God, group members will begin to strengthen each other’s relationship with God. Hence, participating in Life Groups not only unites people together but also fosters spiritual growth.
Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reasons for fear.
They're talking layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East, turnovers at headquarters, downturns in the housing market, upswings in global warming. The plague of our day, terrorism, begins with the word terror. Fear, it seems, has taken up a hundred-year lease on the building next door and set up shop. Oversized and rude, fear herds us into a prison and slams the doors. Wouldn't it be great to walk out?
Imagine your life, wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity, and doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, when you could trust more and fear less. Can you imagine your life without fear?
Join us as Fearless kicks off March 7th in area homes around Lake County. Together we will explore and find a spiritual solution to the growing minefield of fear. We address some of your biggest fears and show you how the solution is easier than you think.
